The Ministry of Labor and Maritime Bureau conducted a joint inspection at China Steel Express on November 13, investigating claims by the company's union regarding inadequate overtime pay for seafarers and assessing the labor conditions of all employees for legal compliance.

The Ministry of Labor emphasized that, in response to allegations from the union regarding labor law violations, it will uphold legal principles and labor rights protections. Together with the Maritime Bureau, it will promptly review inspection findings. If violations are confirmed, the company will face penalties under relevant laws and be required to make improvements to safeguard workers' rights.
